Watching it without any context of the games, I think it's a good show. Not much happens for a third the first season, but it catches on quickly. All but for that one annoying female lead character. God, she's beyond fking infuriating. Almost every scene with her made chewing glass feel like a better option. What a complete a**hole. Her change or redemption, whatever theybwere going for, felt forced. She goes from an extremely racist bigot (hating and killing all demons) to slightly less racist and trying to help "the good ones."🤨
Also, the show reminds me of Devilman: Crybaby, one of my all time favorite anime. I felt a lot of overlapping themes between them, especially with Dante's personality and the protagonist of Devilman.
