Overview

The Gale family brings Candice Gale back from an orphanage, but mistreats her while favoring their adopted daughter. By chance, Simon Smith, the richest man in the city, takes Candice in after she saves him once. Candice brings good fortune to the Smith household. With her around, Simon's wife wakes up from her coma, and they even find their missing son. In the end, it turns out Candice is actually Simon's daughter. The Smith family is finally reunited.
